Kelly Nash was raised in Davie Florida, which is situated just outside Fort Lauderdale. Kelly Nash grew up boating and fishing with her father Ed Nash. Kaitlyn Nash is her sister , and Carolyn Nash is her brother. Kelly Nash is of English, Irish, Swedish, and Portuguese Ethnic group. Her great-grandfather, who was a Portuguese Immigrant, immigrated to America from Portugal.



 From the age of a child, Kelly Nash was a enthusiast of the Miami Marlins. Although Nash was always passionate about sports, she always dreamed of being a news anchor. Kelly Nash received a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina in 2006. After that, she graduated from Clemson with a Master's Degree in Youth Development Leadership in 2009. She had received a full athletic scholarship from the Clemson Athletic Department as a condition of covering their Baseball and soccer teams in the Sports information Department Career



 Kelly Nash, a MLB Network studio host, can be seen on multiple shows which include Quick Pitch, the nightly highlights program. Her appearances on The Fly, the Nightly Game recap Show, and NHL Network Studio are a part of her duties as a host for NHL Network Studio. She joined the MLB Network in March 2015. In the year 2015, she began contributing to the NHL Network.
