Allyson Felix

Allyson Michel Felix was born November 18, 1985. She was born in Los Angeles. Paul Felix served as an ordinand within Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix displayed an early talent to play sports while attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. She discovered her sprinting talent at that moment. Felix finished second in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships within just 10 weeks after her first attempt. Felix finished high school in 2003 and became a part of Adidas an agreement as a professional athlete. In the following year, she was a student at the University of Southern California studying elementary education. The first Olympic medal was won at the 2004 Summer Olympics, at Athens Greece. Felix set the world junior record by running 200m in 22.18 secs. She was the youngest participant in the 200 meters in the world championships in Helsinki in the year 2005. She won her medal once again in 2007, defeating time-tested Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed at the top of the podium in her various races during the Olympics that took place during Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
